NERSC 2021

• In case of a cancellation related to COVID-19, EHM will not be sending any staff to NERSC 2021 as a precaution due to the issues we had with receiving our refunds this year. 
• If NERSC announces an online conference for 2021, RSCs should confirm financial availability with the DRS and then would be free to enroll. 

Adaptive Equipment "Loaners" and "Donations"

• At times some residents and/or families donate walkers, canes, rollators, etc. to the site for use by the next resident that may need these items. 
• Due to liability issues, we cannot store these items for distritbution to other residents but we can arrange for donation to a facility or company that will refurbish these items and resell them at a lower cost. 
• Please reach out if you have any questions.
• Disposable items such as diapers, cleaning products, etc. could be places on a "donation table" for the residents to choose from on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Summer Vacation and Travel

• Please make sure you are changing your voicemail outgoing message to indicate that you will not be available until your return date
• Your automatic email response should also be turned on indicating your time away. 
• As you may be aware, Connecticut has instituted a mandatory quarantine period for CT residents returning from travel to a COVID-19 "hot spot".  Please reach out to Sally if you are planning on travelling to or recently traveled to one of these "hot spots". 

Reasonable Accommodations and Reasonable Modifications

• I have received a request to place the RARM form on the blog (I'm sorry its not already there!)

Looking Forward to August

• Quality Assurance Addendums and Surveys should be going out in the mail at some point in August. Please sign both copies of the Addendums and then return one copy to the corporate office and place one copy and all of the Surveys in your green binder with your 2019/2020 HUD QA. 
• August Reports are due on Wednesday, August 26th by 12 noon.
