April 12th Meeting Recap

APRIL BIRTHDAYS! 

Happy Birthday to Sarah (4th), LaToya (9th), Renee (22nd), and Monique (25th)    

• RARM: 
• We spent a good amount of time reviewing our Reasonable Accommodation Request Process and clarying the items that must be complete prior to submitting for approval.  Several staff members have requested that information written out.

• Documentation Updates 
• Intakes, ADLs, IADLs 
• We need to decrease the number of "Unknowns" that are checked off in AASC.  
• Please review your "Resident Demographics" in your "Pre-Built Reports" from your AASC Homepage and review what files have Unknowns logged.  
• Cost Savings
• We need to increase our Cost Savings reporting
• I can only request that you enter these items moving forward as you update resident files... if you were to choose to go back and enter Cost Savings information for all of your current residents, you may utilize a telework day to do so.  
• Programs
• I'd love to see sites increase the diversity in our health and wellness programming now that we have providers coming out of our "COVID Hibernation".  
• Please share with one another the new and interesting programs you are able to offer at your sites or share contact information for program providers!  
• Summer Staff Event 
• Staff Voted to move forward with our Summer Staff Appreciation Event.  
• I'm going to investigate the option of the Lady Katharine River Cruise for a date in June.  I will keep you posted!

              

• Staff News: 
• Karina Merrill, RSC for Orford Village and Winding River (and OPV) has started her Medical Leave a little earlier than expected!  We anticipate being able to share a picture of Baby-Boy Merrill very soon!  Please keep Karina in your thoughts and send her well-wishes in your mind! 

It was wonderful to see you all and I look forward to our June get-together!
