RSC Bulletin: September 2022
The End of the HUD Year Approaches...
- Hello and Happy September All
- Our HUD Year ends Friday, September 30th
- On Monday, October 3rd, the Team Leads and I will review All Resident Files in AASC for Complete File Status.
- If you have a Complete File, you will receive a confirmation email
- If you do not and this is your first year without a Complete File, you will receive Supervisory Documentation for your records.
- If you do not have a Complete File and this is not your first time, I will reach out to you individually.
- If you are a new hire, please keep in mind any discussion that I or the Team Leads have already had with you regarding your site's Complete File.
- Staffing Updates
- The Great Year of Recruitment continues...
- We welcomed Dawn Flatt and Emma Czaja this summer!
- Casondra Roach will be joining us at Davenport on the 12th and Joanne Etorre will be joining us at Sullivan McKinney on the 28th.
- Thank you to all of our staff that have assisted with coverage and training!
- I'd also like to specifically thank the Team Leads for their efforts and time related to working on recruitment efforts this year. It takes an unbelievable amount of time to screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, obtain references, and set-up site meetings. I, quite literally, could not have managed any hiring without their help!
- Other Staff News...
Join me in Congratulating Kaja and Anthony as they are expecting a Baby Boy in March 2023!
- HUD QA Addendums and Resident Surveys
- You should begin receiving (or have already received) your HUD QA Addendum Page and Survey Responses
- There are two copies of your Addendum Page, please sign and maintain one with the Surveys in your Green Binder.
- The second page, please sign and return to me in the provided envelope for submission in October.
- Please do this as soon as possible.
- HUD QAs for 2022 - 2023 (beginning in October)
- We will be attempting a new process for HUD QA Surveys.
- We will drop off sealed envelopes for your five selected residents when we do the site visit for your QA.
- Residents will then mail back their surveys if they choose to participate. I will provide self-addressed and stamped envelopes.
- Please provide a note regarding a small Quality Assurance sampling in the newsletter for the month of your HUD QA.
- Your HUD QA will almost always be 6 months from your PAR... if you are an April PAR (April hire date) you will be an October HUD QA.
- This way, we should be able to provide addendums quarterly throughout the year.
- Expense Reports
- Mileage went up in July, I've updated our Reports Template Page to include the updated form, which is also linked here: Site Expense Report
- Please keep in mind... you must also submit PDF/print outs of your commute. If you have questions about how to do this, let me know.
- If traveling from home, you need to include your daily commute as well.
- If traveling from site, you only need the mileage proof for your actual travel.
Thank you again for all that you do, I appreciate each and every one of you and the work that you are doing on site, with out residents, and for our entire team.
Stay Safe and Wash Your Hands!
