RSC Bulletin: April 2022

Nope, it's too cold to be Spring...

  • Welcome!
    • We have two new employees this month, Karina Merrill (Orford Village & St. Monica's) and Maria Panagiotakakos (Winding River & Juniper Hill).
    • Thank you to everyone that has assisted with coverage and training.
  • Recruitment
    • We are still recruiting for Westerleigh I and II ... we are conducting second interviews and should be ready for next steps in early May.
    • Thank you to Clarence for his continued (long-distance) coverage of Westerleigh!
  • Reminders & Housekeeping
    • Reports are due by noon on the last Wednesday of each month.
    • Please make sure you are using the most updated report template:
    • Reasonable Accommodations
      • When you write pending, please indicate what is pending... is it pending verification, pending approval, pending a contractor, pending resident agreement... we need to identify what the barrier to completion is.
      • Please also include the date items were approved, verified, sent for verification... this will help us identify where the lags in the timeline are.
    • Board Reports
      • I highlighted it because its an important change!
      • Board Reports will now be completed monthly regardless of when your board meets.  (some of you already do this, if so, this is not a change for you!)
        • Every month, along with your RSC report, you will submit a Board report for that month's services/activities.
        • The reports submitted on April 27th are for the May Board meeting.
      • Property Managers will now be submitting monthly status reports even if the board isn't meeting that month.  RSCs will submit reports as well and this will keep the boards up to date with RSC services.
  • Upcoming Dates
    • Reports are Due Wednesday, May 25th by noon
    • Monday, May 30th is a Holiday
  • Navigate's Tuesday Tip
    • These are snippets or videos that an agency sends out, I'll try to share relevant ones here.
    • Residents and Taxes

Thank you again for all that you do and I hope we can enjoy some consistently warm weather soon!

Stay well and wash your hands!
Christine
