RSC Bulletin: September 2021
RSC Bulletin
September 2021
- Summer flew right by! Happy Belated Birthday to Alyssa Mitchell (6/15), Jim Hernovich (6/20), Beatriz Lugo (7/6), and Jackie Palmer (8/24).
- Our September birthdays are Nekia Hilton (9/7) and Amber Stevenson (9/11).
I hope everyone had a great summer!
- We have a couple of open positions if you know of anyone looking:
- The Maples in Worthington, Massachusetts will be a part-time position... we're still working out the details of the position.
- Ogden House in Wilton is a full-time position.
- NERSC 2021
- EHM will not be participating in NERSC's May 2022's in-person conference.
- All staff are approved to participate in the November 2022 virtual conference.
- This conference can be done while working from home as we did this year with full expectation that calls and emails will be monitored.
- All staff will become members of NERSC once that opens up... they sent an email a little while ago and will be creating a membership program, as we receive more info about that we can review!
- Since we will not be attending the May 2022 conference and the November 2022 virtual conference will be in the next HUD year, you are strongly encouraged to attend webinars for your continuing education topics.
- I have heard that NERSC's webinars (when they are offered) will be adapted directly to our HUD continuing education topic areas, making it easier to fill out the form.
- Programs
- Please continue to bring program information to DRS and Team Leads for review prior to scheduling
- Masks will be required for residents in those towns where the local ordinance requires it.
- Masks will be required for any unvaccinated individuals no matter what.
- If a program provider requests attendees wear masks, we will comply.
- All programs must have individuals seated 6 feet apart, hand sanitizer should be provided, and the room should be disinfected before and after the program.
- Always make sure your administrator and maintenance staff are aware and in agreement for the program.
- COVID Booster Clinics
- We are each working to get information on COVID Vaccine Booster shots and will distribute that information as we receive it.
- If you are contacted to set-up a booster clinic, please let the team leads and me know.
- We will let you know as soon as we know how this is going to go but we are hoping to have booster clinics on site as we did with the vaccine clinics.
- Apartment Transfers
- Make sure you are using the RARM Apartment Transfer form... linked HERE.
- When completing this form, make sure the resident is clearly indicating what features they need (6 hours of daylight, morning sun, a particular flooring or floor, specific aspects of a unit).
- Quality Assurance and Complete Files
- We are completing the QA addendums and will be sending them to each of you via email. Please print, sign and scan back to me via email or send to me at corporate via mail.
- This addendum goes with your HUD QA in your green binder.
- We will conduct a review of each site's Complete File on Friday, October 1st, to check for compliance. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding the Complete File.
On a personal note, I'm attaching two pictures of Grant in the swing that you all gifted us... one is from January 8th when he was itty-bitty and the other is from August 20th... we may need to retire the swing soon but I wanted you all to know it was well loved and much appreciated!
Thank you all for everything you do and your continued hard work!
Stay safe and wash your hands!
