Updates and Changes:
  • COVID-19 and EHM
    • Teleworking: 
      • All staff are encouraged to telework on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work on site Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 
      • If you have specific questions about your schedule, please reach out.
      • This schedule will continue until 4/9/2020 at which point we will re-review.
    • Assessments:
      • Status checks for post hospitalization, ER visits, and rehab stays must be done as soon as possible via telephone. 
      • Initial visits for new residents can be done via a telephone appointment with a Welcome Packet dropped off at the unit with a Confidentiality Agreement
      • Annual Updates can be done via telephone with a note indicating that the assessment was done on the phone due to social distancing requirements related to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic.  A follow-up home visit will be done immediately following the end of health concerns. 
        • Because you will not see the resident, you must be sure to ask about the unit, any new equipment, or any concerns that you would otherwise make note of visually
    • Cell Phone Stipend
      • Now that we are teleworking 2 days per week, EHM will be providing a $40 cell phone stipend for each month that teleworking occurs.  For the month of March, please submit an expense report to me this week for the stipend. 
      • I've attached a blank Site report with the cell phone stipend filled in so you can see where it goes and the general format.  You can access that here.
      • Please remember to include your site splits in the NOTES section. 
  • Program Attendance
    • Programs must now be entered followed by program attendance. 
    • Program Attendance will create a Service Log for the program
    • Please note that the resident attended the program
    • Non-participants will be included and will not count as a service log for non-participants as long as the note clearly indicates that service is a program (much like service logs for assessments on non-participants)
 
Looking Forward to April:
  • DRS Schedule Update
    • I will be out of the office the week of April 13-17 for Spring Break (not that we're going anywhere!) as the girls will be home from home-school.  Charlie and Marlene are available as needed, please continue to utilize each other as needed. 
    • That week is a timesheet week so I will be checking the ADP system while out.  Please make sure to inform Charlie and Marlene of any unexpected call-outs and enter them into the ADP system.  Please request any planned time off prior to me being out. 

  • April's Reports will be due Tuesday, April 28th … this change is just in case we are continuing to telework on Tuesdays as that would be a better day for completing reports.
