Reminders, Recaps and Updates!

Hello All,

Reminders for Reports in 2020:
  • December's reports are due Thursday, January 2nd by 12:00 noon … this is a change from the Friday due date I originally asked for.  November's reports being due on a Friday were a bit of a rush for us!
  • January's reports will be due Wednesday, January 29th by 12:00 noon and that will put us back on the last Wednesday of the month schedule.

Reminders for RSC Meetings in 2020:
  • RSC Meeting on Tuesday, March 31st at 9:30am at site to be determined
    • Anticipated Training Topic: SCMF Training Overview & Discussio
    • Presenter: C. McPherson
  • RSC Meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at 9:30 at site to be determined
    • Anticipated Training Topic: Communication Strategies in Working with Older Adults
    • Presenter: Donna Fedus of Borrow My Glasses
  • I've attached an updated 2019/2020 Training Log that includes the topics covered during RSC meetings here.  This is only for Current Employees, not those in their first year.
Earlier in the month we had our RSC Appreciation Luncheon!  I hope everyone had a great time; I enjoyed the lunch and the fun conversations and I truly appreciate my gift, thank you for your generosity!  Those that were unable to attend, you were missed!  I've included our annual picture below...

HR Updates
  • All RSCs are now salaried positions
  • Timesheets are only submitted via ADP webpage or app.  You do not need to complete a paper timesheet or submit timesheets of any kind to property staff.
  • As salaried employees, your timesheet will appear blank unless you have time off.  The only thing that will appear on your timesheet is time off (sick, personal, vacation, sick bank, vacation bank) or holidays.
    • For time off:
      • You will request time of via ADP first
      • Once approval is received, you will submit an Outlook Calendar request for the DRS, Team Leads and your property staff (this process has not changed).
      • Notes:  you cannot request time off that you do not have.  We no longer have the capability to go negative.  This will only be an issue for the remainder of 2019 and very early 2020.
    • Speaking of early 2020... starting in January, we will receive all of our time off, personal, sick and vacation days, front loaded and accessible.
      • this will not appear on 1/1/20 due to the time it takes a system to update and change from an accrual process.
      • If you use all of your front loaded time off and then choose to leave the company, your last pay check will be deducted any vacation time you have not yet accrued (based on the current accrual schedule).
    • Time Off Banks
      • We have a vacation bank which will now hold up to 75 vacation hours (carried over from December of any year into January of the next).
      • We also now have a sick bank (some of you that have been with EHM longer already have a sick bank from that time).  The sick bank will hold you carry over sick time from December to January.
    • If you have any questions about these changes, please send an email to Taresa or Sally!
I hope you all have a nice end of December and I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2020!

Stay warm and stay safe and, as always, thank you for all that you do!
