Recap! - RSC Meeting 9/5/2018
Hello All!
It was great seeing all of you again after the summer (even though it felt like mid-summer outside!).
Here is the Example Training Checklist which includes the presentation we saw today.
Here is the Updated RSC Site List ... I will upload a new one when the Regional Managers have been assigned.
We've also made some changes to the team assignments so I've also updated the RSC Team List.
A quick recap of what we discussed:
- Outgoing Voicemails: Please update/change your outgoing voicemails to avoid after hours calls to Christine, Marlene or Charlie that we cannot actually assist with. Please see the meeting agenda for a more detailed wording suggestion. I understand that not all of you can check your voicemails remotely but if you can, please do so if you are off site for a training, meeting, etc. This is not the expectation if you are out on time off.
- Direct Services Provision: RSCs do NOT provide direct services. This includes going off-site to pick things up or drop off applications. The Renter's Rebate program is not included in this as it is a specific situation that occurs at very few sites.
- Keyed Entry into Resident Units: RSCs CANNOT provide keyed entry to units for anyone other than the resident in question (trying to enter his/her own unit). This includes providing entry for family members. RSCs conducting a well visit should be doing so with another staff member present. If an administer (on site) has requested your assistance with providing entry to a unit for a scheduled contractor, please contact the DRS or your team lead and/or use your best judgement. Please feel free to communicate openly with your administrator regarding your comfort level in assisting with contractor entry.
- Nonparticipants: DNP (Does not participate) can attend programs and do not need to sign the Non-Participation agreements. Write "refused" on the signature line if the resident does not want to sign.
Also, there is a calendar on the "Homepage" of the RSC Blog with our upcoming Report Days, DRS time off and upcoming meetings.
I'll see you all in October if I don't see you at QA!
Have a great month!
