RSC Meeting Recap for 4/3/2018

Good Afternoon All!

Here is the recap for our 4/3/2018 meeting!

Here is the Example Training Log that includes the presentations we had today... I will send the cost information via email once I receive the invoice and do all the math!

1.  Regional Meetings

• I am presenting at two more Regional Meetings this month, email me with any concerns you'd like me to discuss.

2.  Eviction and Lease Compliance

• Various eviction and lease compliance issues have come up at multiple sites.  Please keep in mind that the RSC role is not to prevent or fight eviction for a resident but we assist a resident in being lease compliant and we serve as a resource for residents wanting to be in compliance.
• We always inform our residents that we need to inform the administrator about an issue prior to doing so.  
• Also, we don't inform residents if they are going to be receiving a verbal or written warning, we wait for the administrator to give residents that notification and then we follow up with assistance/resources. 
• As discussed, here is Pam's Housekeeping Handbook to serve as a resource if you have any questions.
• Please keep a copy of your site specific handbook in your office in case it is ever needed. 

3. Housekeeping and Updates

• The Progress Note and Program Ideas are at the end of the agenda, linked above.

4. Upcoming Training

• NERSC is Wednesday, May 2nd through Friday, May 4th with Tuesday, May 1st being a travel day. 
• Please remember to submit your timesheet prior to leaving for the conference.
• If you are not normally scheduled to work on Fridays, please adjust your hours and do not work Monday, May 7th. 
• Also, for reimbursable meals, make sure you keep your receipts, and we do not reimburse for alcohol and tip. 

• May 22nd - RSC Meeting at Sullivan McKinney in Fairfield.
